Objectives

After completing the IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business 4.1 System Administration course, students should be able to accomplish the following:

Install and configure IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business components
and supporting software in a multi-machine scenario
Create and assign access rights to IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business
users and groups.
Install and Configure WebSEAL to support various types of configurations and
authentication, including Multiplexing Proxy Agents and SSO.
Describe and configure Delegated Administration

Who will benefit from the course? This course is intended for system administrators who are responsible for the administration and configuration of IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business components.
Required Skills/Knowledge

The following list contains the prerequisite knowledge or Tivoli product knowledge an attendee must have prior to attending the course:

Basic operating-system administrative skills for Unix and Windows NT/2000
LDAP experience
TCP/IP fundamentals
Firewall concepts
Skills attained in a basic IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business course
Working knowledge of web protocols (HTTP, XML)
Experience in reading, interpreting, and creating regular expressions
Experience in modifying system parameters
Shell script writing and reading

Recommended Pre-requisites Before attending this course, you should attend the Tivoli Access Manager Fundamentals course.
Course Outline

At the completion of this course you should be able to do the following:

Install and configure DB2, LDAP, IBM HTTP Server, IBM WebSphere, and IBM
Tivoli Access Manager for e-business components
Describe load balancing and failover scenarios for all components
Create IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business users and groups using the
Web Portal Manager and pdadmin
Configure WebSEAL for forms-based authentication
Configure WebSEAL HTTP authentication
Configure WebSEAL to support Multiplexing Proxy Agents (WAP Gateways)
Configure WebSEAL trace facilities for HTTP message streams
Customize WebSEAL login forms
Configure Delegated Administration
Create and configure POP objects for controlling access to web resources
Create and modify ACLs
Create WebSEAL junctions to third-party Web servers
Create and configure SSO targets
List details relating to IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business Certificate
support use and implementation
