Our
workshops are designed to provide the opportunity to develop and
enhance Tivoli skills through hands on experience in a lab environment.
We can customise these to your exact requirements and perform
these at our training location, or on your site.
If
required, we can provide the necessary machines and networking
kit, or use your own test equipment. The following workshops are
designed for Tivoli administrators, and require an understanding
of Tivoli concepts, and basic Unix/NT/Networking skills.
1.
Core Products Installation Workshop
During
this 5 day workshop, the delegates will build a Tivoli environment
given a set of requirements and bare machines, together with the
necessary networking equipment.
The
students will perform the following:
Install
Solaris 8 Install
Windows 2000 Server
Install Windows 2000 Professional
Configure networking using static and DHCP addressing
Install and configure the Tivoli 3 tier architecture Install
and configure an Availability Solution
Install and confgure a Configuration Management Solution
2.
The "Which Database" Workshop
During
this 3 day workshop, the delegates will install configure a variety
of SQL databases to use with the Tivoli environment. The students
will perform the following:
Install and configure Oracle in a client/server environment
Install and configure Sybase in a client/server environment
Install and configure Microsoft SQL Server in a client/server
environment Install
and configure DB2 in a client/server environment
Integrate Tivoli applications in the RDBMS environment. RIM
Troubleshooting.
